23411     Saxonia (1954)                       Deck Plan

Tourist-class plan from May of 1957.  Folds open to 44" x 9".  It's curious that Cunard spent so much money on the Canadian quartette, of which Saxonia was the first ship, when by Cunard's own admission, the company never made any money on the Canadian service.  She later became the Carmania after being rebuilt for cruising.  In 1973 she was sold to the Soviets and became the Leonid Sobinov.  She was finally scrapped just a few years ago.  Great condition.  $18.
