Fine example of a French Line “liste des passagers” for the De Grasse.  Cabin class.  Under the command of Jean C. E. Simon, this voyage departed New York on April 11, 1928, for Havre with 558 passengers.  Measures 6½ ” x 4¼”.  In excellent condition.  $18.

Nice sepia image of the deGrasse.  9” x 6¾”.  One edge is a bit rough but other than that in excellent condition.  I have always been impressed that this plucky ship was the only CGT presence on the North Atlantic for two years after the war.  $14.

Amazing printed photo card of this French liner in dry dock.  Postmark may be February 28, 1912, but it's a bit difficult to read.  Some writing in the sky that does not affect the ship.  Possibly her sister La Lorraine in the background.  $18.

Beautiful fold-over sheet of stationery from this wonderful French liner.  Measures 7½” x 5”.  When held up to the light, there is a remarkable watermark with the company’s name and a ship that bears a striking resemblance to the lost Normandie.  $15.

Pre-maiden voyage deck plan for the Normandie, dated January 1, 1935.  Shows the liner at 79,000 tons before her upgrades.  She's listed as the "World's Largest Ship" and "absolutely fireproof."  A bit ironic, eh?  Cover torn at seam.  Spine taped together.  $115.

I’m pleased to be able to offer this life jacket from France’s greatest liner.  Canvas over cork with “Normandie,” “Le Havre,” and the number “56” stenciled in black.  What appears to be a maker’s mark stamped on it.  All the ties and buckles in very good condition.  Some very slight staining on the canvas.  Displays wonderfully.  I tried it on, and it fits!  $895.

21409     French Line                          Ticket

Passage ticket for the Antilles for Miss Louise Reynolds, dated February 25, 1955, for a cruise leaving from New Orleans.  Miss Reynolds booked cabin 51, which included a shower.  The line used an eastbound passage ticket envelope and listed her as traveling "Cruise Class."   Some discoloration to the envelope.  $15.
