Deck Plan Third-class plan, measuring 34" x 20½".
Five images. Sadly, the Albert Ballin, named in honor of the former
President of HAPAG, was renamed Hansa in 1935 at the insistence of the Nazi
government because Ballin was Jewish. Captured by the Soviets, she
remained in service until 1981. Some tears at folds, otherwise
excellent. Must date to before 1935! $45. |

Deck Plan Superb pre-war plan for the first ship to have an
à la carte restaurant.
Interestingly, most of the decks are named for presidents or famous
Americans except the "Kaiser Deck." Cover first-second, and third
class. 15" x 14½" For her small
size, she was well equipped and had a gymnasium. Excellent condition.

detail can be seen of the engine telegraph they are standing next to.

images, including a photo of the Kaiser on the launch platform with the
bottle breaking across the bow, the launch, the liner afloat for the first
time, 17 (yes, 17!) interior renderings, and a double-page keyed cut-away.

She operated as Imperator for Cunard for a mere two months before becoming
Cunard's first "Queen." Fantastic detailed first-class
tissue deck
plan as Cunard's Imperator. Measures about 36" x 32". She had
large cabins, lots of private baths, and several private dining rooms, a
great improvement over the liners of even the previous year. Even the
officers' quarters are shown. Has the usual separation at the folds
otherwise great condition. $250. |
